Welcome to Year 1
In our class we work and play together, helping each other to achieve our very best. We try really hard to work independently, persevere and aim high! We enjoy learning practically, exploring new topics and having fun!
Year 1 is a transition year as we start the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum but we aim to make this as smooth as possible. Year 1 is a mixture of children learning through play and more formal tasks which will evolve by the end of the year so they are prepared for Year 2.
