On Thursday 25th June, the whole school took part in a Sponsored Fun Run on Pleckgate Playing Fields. Fortunately, the bad weather we had experienced prior to this day stayed away, and the children enjoyed beautiful sunshine – and had great fun!
The funds raised by the children will be used to buy new sporting kit and equipment which will be used during fixtures and inter-school events. The event doubled up as a House event, where each child received house points for each lap they completed. Pleckgate were the overall winners. They will benefit from their own Non-Uniform Day on Monday 20th July – more details will follow.

In addition, there was also a prize for the 3 infants and juniors that raised the most money. The winners were:-

These children were awarded with their winners medals in School Worship earlier today.
