Music plays a special role at our school. In addition to National Curriculum music lessons, in which key skills are taught, many of our junior children are members of our school choir, orchestra and ukulele groups.
From Year 3, many children choose to receive additional musical instrument tuition from visiting specialist teachers including: violin, flute, clarinet, saxophone and brass. School makes a subsidised charge for these lessons. Once proficient, these children are welcomed into the orchestra and will perform regularly at school events and in our worship.
