Sporting Events

Throughout the school year the children are involved in a busy sporting calendar. These events often take place after school and allow the children to test their sporting skills against other schools.

Autumn term
Football – matches for the school team and a knock-out cup competition – the Jubilee Shield.
Netball – a Blackburn schools tournament.
Cross Country – the first of the three races.
Tag Rugby – tournament at Blackburn Rugby Club Y5 & Y 6

Spring term
Football matches for the school team.
Cross country – the second and third of the races.
Indoor athletics tournament Y6.
Infant indoor athletics tournament Y2.
Y4 gymnastics competition.

Summer term
Any remaining football fixtures.
Outdoor athletics tournament
Cricket fixtures
