Christmas Shoebox Appeal

What can I give Him,
Poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd
I would bring a lamb;
If I were a wise man
I would do my part;
Yet what I can, I give Him –
Give my heart.

Which is exactly what our pupils at St Gabriel’s did today – they gave what they could.

113 shoeboxes were this morning donated to The Salvation Army for them to distribute amongst the homeless they support in their shelters, and around the Borough.  Two of the children were chosen at random to accompany the boxes on their journey and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience and learnt a lot.

A HUGE well done and a thankyou to everyone that took part.  Let’s hope we can make this an annual School event at this time of year.
